Ceske Budejovice Hanwha Vision

This city in the Czech Republic has deployed a solution for traffic management and urban safety that relies on AI-powered cameras from Hanwha Vision, the VMS of Genetec and in a system for detecting incidents of Sprinx.

Located in South Bohemia, in the Czech Republic, The city of České Budějovice operates as the regional capital, with important commercial and business links, to which the fact that the E55 trans-European road passes through it contributes, that goes from Sweden to Greece.

This municipality has completed the Tender for the installation of a traffic management and urban safety system composed of more than 170 video surveillance cameras, whose successful bidder and supplier have been Swarco Traffic And Telmo, in collaboration with Abbas, distributor of Hanwha Vision in this country.

The resulting solution includes more than 170 X-Series Cameras, Multi-sensor and bullet type with artificial intelligence by Hanwha Vision, that integrate with a system of Genetec Video Management and in another of incident detection and traffic data collection from Sprinx, providing continuous recording and analysis of the city's main roads.

The camera PNO-A9081R offers 4K resolution, with real-time day/night recording and infrared illumination of up to 30 meters away, allowing for continuous outdoor surveillance.

The Built-in AI technology in this camera provides accurate object detection and classification, as well as business intelligence that includes people analytics, vehicles and heat maps within predefined areas.

For traffic management, the camera has been installed PNB-A9001LP, 4K RoadAI, an end-to-end monitoring solution with pre-installed and licensed ANPR, for brand recognition, model and color (MMCR) & Vehicle Classification Analysis.

This camera is ideal for Monitor heavy urban traffic and covers up to two lanes at speeds of up to 100 Km/h. On-device AI provides information and reduces false alarms, with analysis performed in-house to reduce server requirements and save energy and costs.

In addition, Hanwha PNB-A9001LP Equips a License Plate List Management, while the camera output can be connected to an access control system, helping operators manage parking lots and toll roads.

Another of the cameras that are part of the solution deployed in this Czech city is PNM-9031RV, Outdoor equipment equipped with four sensors 5 Mp, Remotely adjustable and with pan and tilt functions, which offers a 192° panoramic view to cover large areas.

As he explains Zuzana Trousilová, Deputy Director of Internal Affairs and Methodology of the České Budějovice Municipal Police, "With regard to the supervision and guarantee of safety on the roads of our city, Hanwha Vision's cameras fully meet the specified requirements for camera parameters and support the integration needs of operational software applications.".
