LDA provides the public address system for the Faneque tunnels in the Canary Islands

A NEO-8060 control unit has been installed with two NEO-8250E extensions of LDA Audio Tech and for the sound system of the tunnel have been used 180 PS-30TN Speakers, exponential horn type, that provide optimal levels of intelligibility.

The Faneque tunnels connect a section of 2,1 kilometres between the towns of El Risco and Agaete in Gran Canaria (Spain) and they are part of a large road infrastructure that connects different population centres along the GC-200 road.

Opened in February 2024, This step improves mobility in the northwest area of the island, as it allows you to travel in six minutes a route that previously took more than 20 on secondary roads with curves and danger of landslides.

The tunnels are equipped with public address and voice evacuation systems EN certificates 54 manufactured by LDA Audio Tech. Specifically, a NEO-8060 ECU with two NEO-8250E extensions .

For the sound system of the tunnel, the following have been used 180 PS-30TN Speakers, exponential horn type, which, thanks to their high sound pressure level, ensure optimal levels of intelligibility.

LDA systems have been natively integrated with Scada for management and monitoring. In this way, The tunnels are equipped to deal with any type of emergency that requires a controlled and safe evacuation.

The project has been carried out with the distributor Casmar and the installer/integrator Comsa Industrial.
