The GoldenEye hotel and resort in Svilengrad (Bulgaria) opened its doors last January and was presented as the largest casino in Europe. Ownership of BC Industries, Includes a hotel, Gaming Rooms, a spa and pool center, High-end restaurants and retail stores.

BC Industries wanted to find a robust and powerful video solution, not only to provide a safe and welcoming environment for hotel guests, but also to optimize the efficiency of internal services.

For the casino, Security challenges are even more demanding. There is a requirement for complete visibility of the 24 hours of the day, The 7 days of the week on gaming tables and public areas; Guaranteed flawless image capture and HD video image recording; and the most efficient real-time monitoring tools for multiple users.

The company also wanted to design flexibility, with a modular approach to expand the scope of surveillance, as well as integrating with your other systems and adopting AI analytics as future requirements arise. IDIS technology was identified as the ideal solution and the contract was awarded to the IDIS integration partner, Volga Elektronik.

A comprehensive video solution from IDIS was installed to cover the casino, The hotel and car parks. Not only does it guarantee HD coverage of all transactions, but also provides a flexible platform for the planned adoption of AI-based analytics.

The system comprises more than 600 Cameras; seven NVR recorders 64 Channels; Enterprise-grade IDIS Solution VMS that includes critical failover to ensure continuous video access; and all system accessories.

A combination of IDIS Super Fisheyes from 12 Mp, IR dome cameras 8 MP and IR domes 5 MP allows extensive scene surveillance of all internal areas, no blind spots, plus specific coverage of priority locations, including gaming tables and cashier stations. The external areas, including parking spaces and entrances, are covered with IDIS bullet chambers of 5 MP and PTZ IR 2 Mp.

IDIS Solution Suite VMS allows monitoring by six operators and two supervisors, Using a control room video wall, with live view, Simultaneous playback and full protection against failures and loss of video data in the event of network instability.

The solution is NDAA compliant, with optimal cybersecurity protection and GDPR adaptation.

BC Industries is also leveraging the future-proofing capability that IDIS technology ensures, and is testing people counting, the heat maps and occupancy monitoring powered by IDIS AI, with analytics targeting casino inputs.

In addition, video system integration with casino ERP software is also being introduced, with transaction data that will be overlaid on recorded video for efficient incident investigation.
