LDA Audio Tech MPS-8Z plusThe new MPS-8Z+ multi-zone microphone from LDA Audio Tech not only has the aesthetics improved compared to its predecessor, it integrates advanced features for large PA projects.

One of the novelties of the model MPS-8Z+ relative to MPS-8Z is the Version 2 of the Acsi protocol, allowing Connect up to 32 devices on the same bus directly to the teams NEO, NEO+ or Nexo of LDA Audio Tech, Especially advantageous for public address and voice evacuation systems with many microphones.

A novel and differential feature of the MSP-8Z+ multi-zone microphone is the Store & Forward, which allows a delayed voice message to be issued if the system is busy when the user wants to make the call.

Other advantages of MPS-8Z+ compared to its predecessor is that the new version of the Acsi protocol was released with the firmware v02.40.xx.xx of NEO devices and has now been integrated into the v02.xx version of this microphone, taking advantage of its best capabilities and new features.

Specifically,, ACSI v2 protocol provides up to 32 Devices on the bus; function Store & Forward, Faster Bonding Process, Zone Groups Function, as well as better Memory customization area and Feedback Information From primary to secondary devices.

In addition, the version 2 Provides extended system status information, their zones and zone groups, and when another device is occupying the bus's audio channel, together with the function of pre-evaluation of operations before they are executed.

MPS-8Z+ has Two connections for distributed elements in public address systems. The Acsi bus unifies the microphone's audio channel with the microphone in a single cable, in addition to the control and power lines.

The connection is always made in bus mode Daisy chain, where each device is connected to the next, and via Ethernet network cable with a maximum distance for the entire 1.000 Meters.

Thanks to the connectivity capabilities of LDA Audio Tech's public address and voice alarm systems, if Nexo converters are used, it is possible Connect up to 4096 Units MPS-8Z and MPS-8Z+ microphones, as well as VAP-1 and VAP1-FES panels to a single NEO+ system.

The MPS-8Z+ PA microphone is factory configured with the Acsi v2 system, although it also supports the configuration of the previous version of the protocol, ACSI v1.
