Dallmeier at MSC 2024

The event had a security infrastructure provided by Dallmeier which included more than 30 video cameras from the Domera family and several with multifocal sensors from the range Panomera.

Dallmeier Eelectronic and its subsidiary Dallmeier Systems have been responsible for video surveillance at the Munich Security Conference 2024 (Munich Security Conference – MSC) with its video technology.

The MSC 2024, which took place for the 60th this month of February, brought together more than 50 heads of state and more than a hundred ministers from more than a hundred countries in Munich to discuss security issues.

In addition to certain interior areas of the Bayerischer Hof and Rosewood hotels, large outdoor areas – such as access roads and public squares- They must be monitored so that emergency services can maintain an overview at all times, even in potentially complex situations. Dallmeier's multifocal sensor technology is particularly suitable for these special requirements.

Multifocal sensor technology

Dallmeier at MSC 2024The technology supplied is a comprehensive system composed of more than 30 Family Video Cameras Domera and several with multifocal sensors from the range Panomera.

With up to eight lenses and video sensors in one optical unit, Panomera cameras provide an overview of large spatial contexts with consistently high resolution, even in remote image areas. As a result, Only five systems in this range, along with three single-sensor cameras, are needed to cover the entire exterior of the security conference.

The experts at Dallmeier Systems installed three poles with Video Technology which was managed in parallel and independently of the police system.

This system provides the security service with a comprehensive overview of the relevant areas. Inside the meeting places, They cover themselves, in addition to the overview, specific areas to monitor the flow of people and crowds in individual rooms. The latter is made possible by AI-based video analytics on the cameras.

The solution consists of operator stations that can access the SeMSy Compact video management system with elaborate maps, Multi-display and dashboard functionality. Images and data are provided to MSC security officers in real time at the control centre. Dallmeier Systems provided technical equipment on-site throughout the event to ensure proper operation.

The manufacturer Dallmeier Electronic from Regensburg was chosen for its long-standing presence and successful cooperation in the police sector, including facilities at the Munich Police Headquarters (PPM), Oktoberfest and facilities in numerous Bavarian cities, Including, Ingolstadt, Augsburg, Regensburg and Würzburg.

"We are very proud to be able to make an important contribution to the safety of the participants of the 60th Munich Security Conference with video technology made in Germany”, Says Roland Feil, Managing Director of Dallmeier Systems, Implementation and support company. "Our technology not only offers high-resolution surveillance with maximum overview and control of the situation, but also advanced features such as people counting and the option to activate an alarm in case of certain incidents, thanks to AI-based analysis techniques."
