Hanwha vision Brandys Nad Labem-Stara Boleslav

The Czech city of Brandýs Nad Labem-Stará Boleslav has expanded its municipal surveillance system with twenty Hanwha Vision, incorporating Roas AI and RoadWatch features for license plate recognition and traffic management.

In order to improve the safety and quality of life of its citizens, The City Council of Brandýs Nad Labem-Stará Boleslav, Known as "The City of Two Cities", for its history as two cities spread on both banks of the Elbe River, A few years ago, the construction of the Municipal Camera Surveillance System (MKDS).

Now and in order to expand public safety, The City Council has installed cameras with license plate recognition to better understand the flow of vehicles and report on traffic management.

For this project, the following have been deployed: a total of twenty cameras of the PNO-A9081RLP and XNO-6123R/RW models of Hanwha Vision, with the functions Road AI and RoadWatch with Artificial Intelligence, along with a SSM Recording Server, Decoders, The intercom TID-600 and other equipment.

The PNO-A9081RLP cameras offer Brandýs Nad Labem-Stará Boleslav a All-in-one solution, with automatic license plate recognition, model, Brand & Color (MMCR) & Vehicle Classification Analysis, all pre-installed and fully licensed, covering a lane of traffic at speeds of up to 70 Km/h.

Since eyewitness statements are often inaccurate or incomplete, in particular with regard to vehicle registration plates, The ability to search for cars by brand, Model and color is a great help to investigation teams if any incidents occur.

These devices are particularly suitable for monitoring urban traffic and can cover a lane at speeds of up to 90 Km/h and at a distance of up to 30 Infrared Meters.

Both camera models communicate with police databases to further improve incident response times and support investigations, as local police can see what's happening in real-time on a video wall in the control room or with remote images on their phones and tablets.

The authorities of Bandýs Nad Labem-Stará Boleslav plan to carry out a future expansion of the camera system and invest in Wisenet Wave to further improve mobile connectivity for first responders.
