Optex launches the new Redscan mini-Pro sensor series

Optex has announced the launch of its new sensor series Redscan mini-Pro, which has a Built-in IR camera and illumination, to provide highly accurate and very fast short-range laser detection, and visual verification in high-security environments both indoors and outdoors.

The latest addition to the Redscan LiDAR series, it's the mini-Pro that analyzes size, the location and distance of moving or stationary objects to accurately and precisely detect intrusions up to a range of 20×20 Meters.

Designed to work in short-range applications, both indoors and outdoors, The sensor can be mounted horizontally, To create invisible laser planes and protect rooftops, Skylights & Ceilings; or vertical, to create virtual laser walls and protect high-value assets, Perimeter doors or façades.

The Redscan mini-Pro integrates a camera that provides an extra measure of security intelligence, as it allows you to verify the cause of the alarm, while recording and saving detailed videos and logs for post-event analysis.

Thanks to its Led IR with adjustable light sensitivity, The sensor provides continuous monitoring of the facility in any lighting condition. Detection is not affected by weather, Temperature or light changes, ensuring consistent, accurate performance throughout the year and in a multitude of high-security applications.

To adapt to the needs of each installation, the Redscan mini-Pro allows for the configuration of 8 independent detection zones, each with its own sensitivity settings, Target Size and Alarm Output, so that zone and risk level settings can be optimised to maximise capture rates and minimise false alarms.
