LDA Audio Tech updates the firmware for its PUBLIC address and voice evacuation system EN54 NEO
v40 firmware keeps it simple to use, But LDA Audio Tech It has included a completely renewed internal core and new functionalities that increase its versatility.
LDA Audio Tech Take a step into the future with the development of the new firmware V40 for your public address and voice evacuation system EN54 NEO. An update that presents a complete renewal of its internal core, maintaining the same ease of use.
Thanks to the Firmware v40, NEO supports the new functionalities that are implemented in the future, including new ranges of microphones and fire panels.
The firmware v40 for NEO includes as main features an improved core for public address and voice evacuation functions, support for ACSI v2 communication protocol, new configuration options for ACSI and EQ devices, and zone group functionality.
In this version the internal core of NEO has been completely reprogrammed, Applying the entire product experience to improve safety, System reliability and fluidity.
In this process, the internal code of the drive has also been optimized., which has allowed new features to be added to the system. Some of them are already available in this version and additional ones will arrive in future firmware updates.
LDA Audio Tech has been preparing its public address and evacuation solution for the future for some time and an important step has been to completely renew and update its own communication protocol.: ACSI v2. This provides connectivity with the full future range of PA microphones, with fire panels and with the Nexo converter.
Some of the new features planned for this new range are support for up to 32 Devices (Microphones for public address systems and alarm panels) connected to the same NEO system, Ethernet support for PA microphones and fire panels (digital connection), support for AES67 level digital audio 3, Control and monitoring for each emergency area, Store function & Forward for PA microphones, and advanced integrations with third-party systems via NEXO, Using a new open protocol, more versatile and complete.
ACSI devices (PA microphones and fire panels), are V1 or V2,, will now include new configuration options directly from NEO: ACSI device volume level control from NEO, ability to customize ACSI device priority regardless of ACSI bus direction, monitoring microphones from NEO, and ability to disable Plug mode & Play on the ACSI bus, so that microphones that have not been manually installed cannot be used on the system.
On the other hand, new DSP equalization filters have been incorporated for audio outputs and inputs, including Peaking, Low/High Shelf, Low/High Pass, LP/HP Butterworth and IIR coefficients. In addition, for NEO4250E and NEO4500E a new delay function has been created on each channel with up to 144 MS of delay per device.
With the new firmware v40 for NEO, groups of zones can be created that can be assigned to the buttons of public address microphones and fire panels. This new feature removes the limitation of 8 Zones by microphone button, so that an unlimited number of zones can be assigned to a single button.
Additional improvements:
- Easy automatic all-call function for PTT front microphone.
- Improved log display on the front screen.
- Speaker line monitoring tone set to default to 20 Khz.
- Improved AC/DC power supply monitoring.
- Improved behavior of GPIO actions in events.
- Bug fixes and other optimizations.
