Hanwha Introduces Two Dual-Channel Multi-Sensor Cameras with AI
The PNM-C12083RVD and PNM-C7083RVD cameras of Hanwha Techwin incorporate object detection and classification based on Deep Learning. Solutions designed to monitor two different zones with two different fields of view.
Hanwha Techwin Europe has presented two multisensor cameras, dual channel, with artificial intelligence for the European market, The PNM-C12083RVD and the PNM-C7083RVD. These teams, equipped with artificial intelligence, have been designed to monitor two different areas with two different fields of view. This makes them ideal for monitoring conventional or mechanical ladders., and L-shaped corridors, in addition to securing two adjacent areas, as check-in counters.
These two-in-one cameras feature object detection and classification based on Deep Learning high-precision, while representing a total cost of ownership (Tco) lower compared to installing two equivalent cameras.
Not only do they offer the advantage of a reduced hardware cost., but they are also installed in less time, use a single network cable and, in most cases, only require a VMS license.
The PNM-C12083RVD includes two cameras 6 MP a 15 Ips, while the PNM-C7083RVD has two cameras of 2 MP a 30 Ips. Both have a visible IR length (Infrared) of 25 Meters, comply with the NDAA standard and are FIPS certified 140-2 (Tpm 2.0)
Features and Technologies
The object detection based on Artificial Intelligence reduces false alarms, providing operators with a reliable source of events, while accurate object classification improves operational efficiency by making forensic search highly efficient.
Cameras can detect human faces, as well as identifying private vehicles and license plates, they also ignore irrelevant movements, like leaves of trees that move with the wind, Shadows, lost objects or animals moving within the field of vision.
As for the post-event analysis, dual-channel cameras use technology BestShot to help operators quickly see the best shot of an event. The metadata generated by the camera (person, face, vehicle and license plate) are integrated into the video and returned to a control room, so a compatible VMS can perform a highly efficient forensic search.
Artificial intelligence also improves the image quality of the video that is provided to operators. Noise reduction WiseNR II uses Artificial Intelligence to identify the movement of objects and reduce blur in noisy and low-light environments.
Technology Preferred Shutter based on Artificial Intelligence automatically adjusts shutter speed based on moving classified objects and lighting conditions, to reduce blur and provide images as clear as possible.
WiseStream III dynamically controls encoding, so that when a classified object is detected, compression rate in the area is minimized to improve image quality, while the rest of the scene is compressed at a higher rate. In combination with H.265 compression, bandwidth efficiency can be improved by up to one 75 % compared to H.264 technology.
PNM-C12083RVD and PNM-C7083RVD models are robust and resilient in any weather with IP66 certifications, IK10 and NEMA4X. They also incorporate shielded RJ-45 connector to protect the cameras from transient voltage spikes, reinforced bubble provides better scratch resistance and Gore ventilation to prevent condensation and maintain performance.
The installation has been simplified with the CVBS video output and a WIFI device that connects to the USB port to be able to view and adjust the cameras from a smartphone.
