Bosch brings multi-controller functionality and multi-VLAN IP network in Praesensa 1.50
The new update 1.50 of the IP-based public address and voice alarm system Bosch Praesensa offers more scalability, flexibility and connectivity to have multiple subsystems, each with its own controller.
Especially advantageous for large installations that require multiple controllers and subsystems, Praesensa 1.50, now available for download, now offers more options for the redundancy and scalability of this public address system and voice alarm Bosch.
In this sense, system designers have more flexibility when deploying large networks of systems with the version 1.50, because it allows you to directly assign multiple controllers on large networks with subnets, as in airport facilities, Industrial, Etc.
It is now possible to manage Until 3.000 networked devices and 10.000 audio zones with up to twenty system controllers, while master controllers and subsystem controllers can optionally be used for controller redundancy.
This IP solution, With EN certification 54, allows priority calls from fire microphones to any area or group throughout the Praesensa system. In case the connection of a subsystem controller to the master controller fails, the former continue to function as an independent and self-sufficient system.
To respond to these options to operate with multiple controllers, Bosch has established a new licensing program, so you now only need to purchase one license per subsystem, no need for additional hardware purchases.
Other improvements offered by this version of the software is that all the network components of the Bosch Praesensa system have the EN certification 54-16, including industrial Ethernet switch Cisco IE 5000, which can also be used as a primary switch in larger installations.
In addition, both Praesensa PRA-ES8P2S and Cisco IE 5000 can be monitored via SNMP to report directly if failures occur and daisy chain for greater flexibility in network designs.
Overall network performance has also been improved with Bosch audio routing interfaces OMN-Arnie And OMN-Arnis by Bosch, thus offering an audio routing solution Dante EN certified 54-16 for multiple subnets.
