Milestone Systems integrates incident management function into XProtect 2022 R2

XProtect video management software from Milestone Systems offers in its latest version Essential+, including the ability to manage and monitor incidents with a single click, as well as the company's license plate recognition technology.

Available from next 5 July on AWS Marketplace, Milestone Systems' New XProtect Essential+ Software Suite Adds New Incident Management and Monitoring Features, with the click of a button, as part of its commitment to provide higher performance video technology software standard.

Milestone XProtect Incident Manager allows users to capture any live stream with a single click. Incident types are configurable, so it is possible to define the types (text, drop-down lists, date and time fields, Etc.) for reporting. At the end of the incident, it is possible to stop the capture and start recording the details of it.

The Essential+ version of XProtect will replace the previous version in AWS Marketplace, so that users can have all XProtect product variants 2022 R2 on the same for optimal streaming and storage.

Another novelty of the XProtect update 2022 R2 is the improved recognition of the style of vehicle license plates, as most countries have different types and formats of plates for different types of vehicles.

Updated plate recognition feature allows users to recognize, classify and group more efficiently the different types of license plates through the analysis of motor vehicles.

Depending on the style of the country's plate, users can differentiate between trucks, private cars, buses and even police vehicles, among others.

In addition, Milestone Systems has also announced that XProtect's connection to the platform Axon Incident Management to optimize data management and exchange, videos and images, allowing them to be shared with law enforcement and platform users for more efficient incident management.
