Hikvision's technology turns coworking into L'Illa & Co. in a reference in security

The HikCentral platform of Hikvision manages access control systems, Video surveillance, intrusion detection and people counting of this thousand-square-meter coworking located in the financial heart of Barcelona.

Hikvision has contributed its intelligent video technology in the innovative space security project L'Illa & Co. Business Coworking of Barcelona. The project, led by the integrator Onsecur and that responds to the concept of smart building, includes four areas of action: access control, Video surveillance, intrusion detection and people counting.

Access control terminals allow passage to authorized users, both to coworking and to each of the rooms. These have facial recognition -Hikvision's own technology- card reader and QR code reader. In addition, have intercoms to talk to reception.

Inside the building, a video surveillance system has been installed that respects the privacy of the tenants, so it is focused on the common areas such as corridors and reception. Cameras do not invade the private spaces of coworking clients.

The enclosure has a system to detect intrusion, that reinforces security when offices are closed, without limiting the possibility for an authorized user to access.

People counting system provides data and analysis on occupancy, hours and days of greatest affluence, rooms with more use… This information allows coworking managers to optimize staff and resources.

This infrastructure is controlled by the platform HikCentral, that offers a real convergence between all of them, since it allows to manage all the systems from a single platform. Simplifies and speeds up the use of equipment, in addition to facilitating the interaction between them.

The L'Illa space & Co. Business Coworking is an enclosure of more than a thousand square meters, located in the financial center of Barcelona (Diagonal Avenue), that has the maximum comforts and technological advances in terms of access and security. It opened at the beginning of 2022 and is one of the most advanced and innovative coworking spaces in our country.
