Vivotek IP video surveillance improves Delta's operational efficiency

On the floor of Delta Electronics in Chungli, Vivotek you have installed more than 150 IP video surveillance cameras (dome, bullet and LPR) and a VAST IP video management platform 2.

In its efforts to expand into vertical markets, Delta Electronics commissioned the IP surveillance provider Vivotek create a IP video surveillance smart for the new Chungli plant in Taiwan.

By using network cameras centrally managed by an online image management system and processed with AI-based image analysis software, the solution can issue instant alerts, while providing images of specific areas in real time.

Vivotek's intelligent IP surveillance solution not only creates a safer workplace, but also improves operational efficiency.

To alleviate the weaknesses of surveillance between buildings, between floors and between sites, a customized intelligent IP surveillance solution was designed for the Chungli plant targeting six main areas: production line, Logistics, Storage, exterior wall, access points and management center.

Network cameras are centrally controlled by an image management system, allowing instant alerts in various situations, including fires, equipment anomalies, objects left in the operating room, intrusions and breaches at the perimeter.

The solution can also be linked to access control systems or other systems to strengthen plant security, achieve LPR or effectively manage traffic access and schedules.

Images can be relayed to the management center to identify and manage key data for decision-making or improve operational efficiency.

More than 150 Vivotek intelligent IP surveillance cameras at the Chungli plant. Of these, approximately one hundred are dome for interiors FD8166A-N and more than 50 bullet-type equipment IB9367-H, IB9367-HT E IB9367-EHT-v2, as well as IB9387-LPR.

In addition, IP video management platform has been adopted VAST 2 to integrate the LPR solution, the cybersecurity management solution, Vivotek's smart VCA and smart search, achieving full digital transmission and system integration.

Since joining Delta, Vivotek has collaborated with its building automation business group.
