Marchena City Council relies on Vaelsys video analytics for its schools

This decision has been taken after in the last two years the number of acts of vandalism in four educational centers of Marchena increased alarmingly. That's why, the schools of early childhood and primary education demanded from the consistory a solution to put an end to this situation, since in addition to assuming a significant cost in the repair of the damages caused, the incidents negatively affected the mood of students and teachers.

For this project we have had the advice of the installer IDS Security, based in Seville, along with By Demes support, to deploy an advanced video analytics solution Vaelsys, accompanied by a CCTV system of Dahua Technology.

Thanks to the installation of the security cameras from this manufacturer, specifically models Dahua-2615-FO and the bullet StarLight Full Color WizSense, and Vaelsys video analytics with built-in artificial intelligence, the centers have the latest technology in advanced perimeter protection.

The system, designed for edge analytics, is able to adapt to the environment effectively, identifying hundreds of objects at the same time and providing an immediate response to any unknown element.

Zaida Roldan, delegate of education of the City of Marchena, explains that "we are happy with the result, since thanks to the advice of IDS Security, vandalism in schools has been reduced, and they have been able to understand the needs of the centers from the beginning".
