Peoples Gas secures its facilities with Vaelsys perimeter protection

Drin Security, in collaboration with Vaelsys And By Demes, has provided the facilities with Peoples Gas of the DeepWall perimeter protection solution.

The energy supplier company Peoples Gas has relied on the perimeter protection technology of Vaelsys to secure your hydrocarbon storage plant, gas and diesel located in Villacastín (Segovia).

The plant, of 8.000 square meters, required a maximum security system for a critical environment. Drin Security, in collaboration with Vaelsys and By Demes, has equipped the facilities with the DeepWall solution, connected directly to your CRA, to immediately receive any intrusion system notices.

DeepWall de Vaelsys has three independent systems of Applied Artificial Intelligence. The first of these is WallNet, a Deep Learning solution for intrusion categorization, that allows you to focus alarms on people, suspicious vehicles and/or objects.

The second is SmartZone, that adapts the configuration for each zone to the specific conditions of each camera, allowing to reduce false alarms without harming the detection of real intrusions. And, finally, the third is WaveCancel, that reduces the number of false alarms produced by vegetation thanks to Deep Learning technology.

The combination of these systems has made it possible to meet the needs of a customer in a facility where numerous intrusions previously occurred., with the consequent loss of material.

DeepWall, with its advanced configuration rules, has been able to adapt to an installation with considerable handicaps, such as the number of movement of people outside the facility, the strong wind in the area (that causes objects to enter the installation, the possible movement of cameras and/or staffs) and the constant changes in the detection scenario.

With this solution, high detection reliability has been achieved by minimizing the number of false alarms.
