Ifema Madrid adds to its security protocols an intelligent system for face-to-face fairs
The Wizzie Data Platform (WDP) of Wizzie Analytics, made up of Ntt, has been deployed for the first time in Ifema Madrid for for space analysis, capacity management and attendee behavior.
On the occasion of the recent celebration of Fitur 2021, the International Tourism Fair, Ifema Madrid has added in its security protocols an innovative system of intelligent analytics of spaces for the control of the flow of people and management of capacity in real time, in each of the pavilions that hosted the event.
This new system has been developed by Wizzie Analytics and composed of Ntt, technology services company, and has been presented for the first time in a face-to-face fair, in this case Fitur 2021.
This return to face-to-face events would not have been possible without having the right technological tools for the venues to adapt to the new scenario. Ifema Madrid has incorporated this technology, giving way to the so-called smart venue or smart enclosure, ensuring visitor safety, as well as opening new applications for the safe management of fairs.
Innovation and technology
Among the safety protocols that Ifema Madrid has established for Fitur 2021 (ventilation systems that allow to renew all the air of the pavilion in just twenty minutes, PCR tests at source and test rapids on-site...) there is also everything related to the ordering of the flow of attendees and their mobility.
Ifema Madrid has launched the platform Wizzie Data Platform (WDP), developed by Wizzie Analytics, to manage the flows of movements of people within the enclosure, both the professional team of the organization and the visitors, using various modules of the platform for geopositioning, detection of hot spots of concentration of people and patterns of behavior.
Wizzie Data Platform allows you to monitor all attendees of the event, thanks to the ingestion of information from the capacity control system of Ifema Madrid and its Wi-Fi system deployed throughout the venue, as well as knowing the capacity in all spaces and the flows of movement in real time, which are represented as dynamic heat maps.
This not only allows compliance with regulations and defined anti-COVID control measures, but it is of great help to the security personnel of the enclosure when it comes to acting in case of any unforeseen event.
Artificial intelligence and scalability
Due to its open architecture, is a highly scalable solution that allows you to process a large volume of data. Taking into account that they have been used 44.000 m2 and an estimated attendance of about 100.000 Visitors (between professionals and the general public).
Another important element of this solution is the use of artificial intelligence, which allows the system to be able to learn and detect patterns of behavior, in addition to issuing alerts and being proactive in the face of any incident.
Additional functionality includes custom historical reporting, through which it is possible to analyze what happened in the event in detail, and assess what measures work and possible improvements.
