Hanwha offers a cost-effective AI solution on its five new Wisenet P cameras
To respond to tight security budgets, the Wisenet P range of Hanwha Techwin adds five cameras, With 2 Mp resolution and artificial intelligence.
The new cameras in the range Wisenet P, of 2 Megapixel, complement the 4K models that Hanwha Techwin presented last year, and provide a more cost-effective solution for users to benefit from artificial intelligence technology.
As with existing models of this range, these five cameras incorporate artificial intelligence with deep learning (deep learning) video analytics to deliver a high level of accuracy in detection, while reducing false alarms.
Artificial intelligence video analysis with deep Learning is backed by Wisenet artificial intelligence algorithms, identifying the attributes of objects or people, such as age group and gender or the color of your clothes.
These attributes are saved as metadata, along with images captured by Wisenet P cameras, so that users can quickly and accurately search for specific objects or incidents (algorithms can recognize whether a person wears glasses or wears a bag).
Operators can take advantage of the VMS of leading software developers, As Genetec And Milestone, as well as Wisenet Wave And Ssm, to look for expert evidence of specific objects or people by filtering the recorded metadata.
Another of its possibilities is also to use the search capabilities of the NVR Wisenet X, who can read artificial intelligence metadata captured by cameras.
New firmware
A recent firmware update, integrated into the new cameras 2 megapixels and now available for existing 4K models, includes mask detection and physical estating analysis, along with . an improved function of people counting and queue management.
Cameras have Hanwha Techwin's capacity control app, that generates alarm outputs that can be used to control automatic doors or traffic lights, as well as to enable the display of messages (wait or enter) when the maximum number allowed has been reached.
All these free AI video analytics apps with deep learning help users not to incur the cost of purchasing licenses to use them.
Other features include automatic digital tracking, so that cameras can stream two video streams so operators can see the full field of view; image noise enhancement technology WiseNRII, complementary compression WiseStream III and the exit of 50 mA to power Led, Sensors, Etc.
“We are sure that these new cameras, more affordable, will help demonstrate that AI-based video surveillance technology is not only suitable for high-end applications- Uri Guterman, Product and Marketing Director of Hanwha Techwin Europe-. We also believe that there are a lot of applications in which business intelligence can make a lot of profit from the deep learning, as to operate safely to prevent the spread of the pandemic”.
