Synology RS2421+ improves large-scale enterprise storage

With Synology RS2421+, and its version with redundant power RS2421RP, seeks to boost the performance of RackStation drives to meet storage and protection demands.

Synology has improved the performance of the units RackStation with the model of 12 Bays RS2421+ and its version with redundant power, RS2421RP+. Both systems are designed to meet the most demanding large-scale enterprise storage needs and facilitate backup tasks, saving files and creating private clouds.

The RS2421+ and RS2421RP+ models offer improved performance, compared to the previous generation of RackStation units. With optimal configuration, offer a 103% more than random writing IOPS and a 161% more than random-read IOPS. They also record sequential read performance of 2.200 MB/s, which is a 26% improvement and sequential write performance of 1.154 MB/s, A 63% superior.

Adapt to any environment
