Scati provides a comprehensive security solution for the logistics environment
Ten production centers in a major multinational now have advanced video surveillance technology, access control with facial recognition, reading this manufacturer's license plates and panoramic cameras.
The security technology of Scati has been chosen by a major production and distributor company to equip its ten logistics centers, where you have deployed a centralized video surveillance system to improve the protection of your facilities, including a hangar of its own.
At its largest operations centers, where the most valuable goods are stored, facial recognition and license plate recognition systems have been installed (Lpr) to authorize access only to authorized personnel.
For the comprehensive protection of the other locations, different camera models have been chosen, addressing the surveillance and protection needs of each site. With a total of sixty devices is the safety of the most critical places of each of the plants, managed from their own operations center.
External access to the different units is monitored by twenty-six compact IP cameras, with a resolution of 2 Megapixel, infrared prepared for clear visualization of up to 100 Meters, as well as IP67 protection to withstand different weather conditions..
Scati's SIC-3511VR-XYM8, installed in this project, it also incorporates intelligent analytics to detect various situations such as line crossing, Intrusion, abandoned object and facial detection.
The company also has its own hangar, which has ten panoramic cameras, especially suitable for perimeter protection of large areas, making it easier to fully see the fleet of aircraft.
The SEM-3511VR-XYA-PAN camera installed in this space has four lenses to offer a complete 360o view and IP67 degree of protection that make it waterproof (IP67) and vandal-proof (IK10).
Additionally, five IP minidomos have been installed in the common areas of the interior of the facility (sem-3601R-XU model), resolution of 4 megapixels and 180o viewing angle.
These devices allow automatic day/night switching thanks to the addition of a mechanical filter with IR (Until 10 M. away) to capture clear images, even in conditions of strong backlight, thanks to its wide dynamic range (Wdr) of 120 Db.
Perimeter protection of logistics centres is carried out with the help of seven PTZ domes 2 Megapixel, in two different versions depending on the scope needed (SID-35115NR-EXY25, with an optical zoom of 25 Metro,s and SID-35115NR-EXY32, with one of the 32 Meters).
Control of employee accesses is done with facial recognition cameras, SDLM-3601VR-EMXA8-FR), that thanks to its resolution of 4 megapixels can capture up to thirty faces simultaneously in the same scene.
With built-in WDR (140Db), these cameras are especially suitable for installation at access points, correcting the strong backlight contrasts. Through CMS Scati Fenix, operators can search for people's records and centrally manage the company's employee database, always complying with the regulations regarding the protection of data in force in each country
Four bullet-type IP cameras have been installed for parking access to the parking lot of the company's vehicle fleet, resolution of 2 Megapixel, able to read the license plates of vehicles that access the different units even to 40 M. away.
Management software enables centralized search of registered license plate history, as well as the management of black/white lists of license plates.
Video storage and databases, both people and vehicle plates, is done through different Scati Fenix recording platforms, FN76-816-P2-8TB models, FN9-1232-R8-12TB and FN9-1232-R8-16TB, who have dual operating system to ensure high image availability. Moreover, these VCRs intelligently manage available bandwidth.
CMS Scati Fenix server performs centralized management of all installed video surveillance systems, with the capacity to 512 Cameras, and the operation of up to a hundred client stations concurrently.
