AG Neovo technology ensures sulehav fishing activity in Denmark
Surveillance and monitoring is done with the help of seven QX-55 displays from the manufacturer, with 4K UHD resolution, each with a different role to play.
The sea can be a dangerous place. Winds can change in an instant and calmer oceans can suddenly become the deepest waters and with fearsome storms. Technology development and advances in fishing vessels have made this activity much safer and more likely to succeed.
Danish fishing vessel Sulehav, of 500 Gt (gross tonnage) and a crew of eight to ten members, is dedicated to monitoring fish banks, while each requires the control and safety of the ship's technical information, monitoring the exterior of the deck from the ship's bridge and, Of course, constant weather observations.
In order to control with the greatest security, speed and possible visibility these elements turned to the digitization specialist for the maritime environment Vest-El, partner in Denmark AG Neovo, who turned to this manufacturer's screens, because it integrates seamlessly with your software and allows you to control all monitors easily and simultaneously.
The solution was to install a total of seven AG Neovo QX-55 displays, three to starboard and four to port on the bridge, in addition to one of the QX-43 model, each with a different role to play.
Split screen function makes multitasking control and surveillance much easier and clarity is never a problem with 4K UHD resolution, you can also switch to a complete one to focus on a particular task.
This technology is backed by ultra-low backlighting, a firmware specially developed for the marine environment, NeoV optical glass protection and Anti-Burn-in technology for displays to have greater durability and consistency.
"Working with Vest-IS is a bit as if your right hand worked with the left, they both know what the other is going to do and they trust the results fully", says Jorgen Abildgaard, AG Neovo sales director for the Nordic countries and the United Kingdom.
