Telefónica boosts non-contact access control with Idemia technology
MorphoWave is a biometric terminal that scans and verifies four fingerprints in less than a second through a hand shake gesture.
Telephone is making morphoWave's non-contact biometric scanners known at its Demonstration and Innovation Center Idemia, a technology that allows access control without pressing your finger on the screen.
This technology consists of a biometric terminal, with more than 10.000 units deployed to date around the world, that scans and verifies 4 fingerprints in less than a second through a hand agitation gesture, easy and totally contactless.
“Collaboration with Idemia allows us to continue to advance the development of solutions in the area of security. We are delighted to incorporate your MorphoWave technology into our innovation catalog to offer this new access control that will allow our customers to access the facilities faster and more securely”, declares Lorena Senator-Gomez, GLOBAL Business Director of TIS.
The operator is committed to biometric contactless access control terminals within its current portfolio of solutions.
In the coming months, Telefónica Tech through its Area of Security Engineering (Tis), will bet on the momentum of this technology in future projects of technological integration of security systems. The aim is to make innovation-based solutions available to customers as a differential axis, bringing value to all your technology integration projects.
