Venice Angel Hospital installs Optimus voice evacuation systems

Compact equipment, EN54 certificates, Spanish company control the public address and voice alarm system of this health centre.

Located in Mestre, in the area known as terraferma, in front of the island of Venice, The Angel Hospital (Ospedale dell'Angelo) is one of the most technologically advanced health centers in Italy, and at the forefront of healthcare in Europe.

The hospital complex occupies 152.000 m2 and consists of five independent buildings: the hospital itself, an auditorium, a commercial area, a car park and the ophthalmology department Banca degli occhi.

The hospital, with seven floors above ground and two underground, has a patient care capacity of 680 Beds, and in which the public address system and voice alarm of the Spanish company has been deployed Optimus.

As part of the project, part of the quad-core control of this manufacturer's EN54 Compact certified system has been renewed, ip-connected through the data network.

These systems manage approximately one hundred loudspeaker areas from the Compact and Compact-E control units, UMX-2SA two-zone cards, ME-200B emergency front microphones, the MD-30C bus microphonic desks and the DC-700ETH microphonic power stations.
