Flir adds a 4K 31x model to its Quasar line for perimeter protection in harsh environments

This powerful team is ready to deliver sharp images, visible in low-light conditions and in critical infrastructure spaces, remote installations or other large areas that require close monitoring.

The latest addition to the premium line of PTZ Quasar cameras Flir Systems, is the 4K 31x IR PTZ, offering 4K visible resolution, with a 31x optical zoom and infrared lighting (Go) long-range coverage in low-light conditions of up to 200 meters in harsh environments.

With an extended operating temperature range of -40 To 60 degrees Celsius/140 degrees Fahrenheit, IP66 rating for water and dust protection, and NEMA-4X (salt tolerance), this camera is equipped for operation consisting of extreme weather conditions.

Pan-Tilt thaw functionality and lens cleaner that incorporates, along with cleaning systems, operated remotely, keep the camera functional and operational in remote or hard-to-reach facilities.

Like other Quasar products, The 4K 31x IR PTZ maintains open platform support and can be used with a variety of third-party VMS or Flir United VMS solutions. Includes standard security protocols and additional cybersecurity improvements, such as protection against login attacks, hardware and software authentication and encryption to help keep installations safe from cyberthreat.
