Hanwha launches AN NVR PoE range with built-in Wisenet Wave
This line is made up of the team of 8 WRN-810 channels and the 16 WRN-1610S channels. They have a powerful processor and offer an efficient and optimized solution to use the multiple functionalities of the latest version of the VMS, Wisenet Wave 4.1.
Hanwha Techwin has launched a new gamma of NVR PoE that leverages video management software (Vms) Wisenet Wave, without having to install a server. It is made up of the team of 8 Wisenet WRN-810 channels and the 16 WRN-1610S channels, that have a powerful processor and offer an effective solution, optimized to use the multiple capabilities of the latest version of the VMS.
The WRN-810 stores up to 12 Terabytes of data, thanks to two internal SATA hard drives, while the WRN-1610S stores up to 24 Terabytes of data, with four SATA hard drives.
A key goal of the two new NVRs has been to minimize Wisenet Wave's total cost of ownership. Hanwha Techwin has succeeded in avoiding the need to buy, Install, host and maintain a server, it is normally needed to run the software. Moreover, installation cost is further reduced with built-in PoE switches, because they supply power to the connected cameras.
Designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized video surveillance projects, with an emphasis on a simplified user experience, Wisenet Wave features an intuitive drag-and-drop tool that makes it easy for operators to set up a layout of live or recorded images on a single screen or video wall, with customizable designs and sizes.
This tool supports the 'Design as Action' feature, that activates a predefined screen layout to open automatically when an event occurs, while a wide range of smart search options, including keyword search, calendar and time segment, allow operators to quickly retrieve recorded videos from specific incidents.
In addition to ease of use, a virtual PTZ allows operators, with just a few mouse clicks, zoom in to see expanded details of any suspicious activity.
Wave 4.1
The two NVRs are integrated with the latest version of Wisenet Wave 4.1, which is equipped with a long list of new practical features: user-defined alarm event notifications - which can be sent to mobile devices- and configuration of cameras connected from Wisenet Wave, without having to open a separate browser window.
Improved smart search allows you to set up a region of event interest (Roi), to limit a search to a specific area of a field of view, while integration with Wisenet cameras with Artificial Intelligence allows the attributes of classified objects or people to be shown in recorded videos.
Users can also search for evidence of specific objects or people by filtering recorded metadata.
"Although Wisenet Wave, subject to a minimum specification, will run on virtually any server, integrating software into NVRs means installation time is minimized and users will be able to enjoy a robust recording solution, cybersecurity and optimized offering a high level of reliability and performance", comments Uri Guterman, Head of Product and Marketing at Hanwha Techwin Europe.
