Hikvision integrates HikCentral with Nedap's AEOS solution and renews Iberia management

In addition to this operation to provide a unique platform for users of both systems, the manufacturer has appointed Ethan Qu as its new CEO for the Markets of Spain and Portugal.

The integration of HikCentral, the video security platform Hikvision, through Nedap AEOS Connector, provides event information, alarms and synchronization of personal data of access control and intrusion events between the connected hardware of these two systems.

Thanks to this integration, facility operators can manage doors, detectors and intrusion areas, as well as visually verifying and managing alarms on HikCentral clients.

This is explained by Jens Berthelsen, Hikvision's global partner alliance manager: "Security personnel can improve their knowledge and control of the situation in large facilities. Integration leverages hikvision Optimus framework to ensure long installation life. Future updates to both systems are also simple and smooth, without compromising ongoing operation".

For its part, Wesley Keegstra, Nedap integration manager, stresses that "it is a satisfaction to have Hikvision as a technology partner; has created a very complete integration for both access control and the intrusion part"

In this sense, linking events and alarms with HikCentral "creates a single platform solution to visualize the status of a security system with the corresponding video recordings. Users can also manage it, either opening or locking doors, etc.", Keegstra points out.

Nedap AEOS Connector develops under Hikvision Optimus, so that system integrators can easily tailor integrations to each customer's needs, creating appropriate workflows and event action protocols.

Optimus and Nedap AEOS Connector are available and ready for deployment for HikCentral version 1.6 and AEOS 2019.1.5.

New address in Iberia

Hikvision has also announced the appointment of Ethan Qu as the company's new president at Iberia, happening in office to Diego di Giuseppe, with the aim of continuing to drive growth in Spain and Portugal.
