AENA relies for its airports on Hikvision's thermometric solutions
This security and prevention solution has been deployed in 44 airports nationwide, with the supply of 175 thermometric devices with temperature control.
The manufacturer is security systems Hikvision has been awarded the public competition Aena for the provision of thermometric technology to allow for extreme preventive actions at airports, based on preliminary temperature detection.
For this project have been supplied 175 thermometric bullet-type cameras that adapt to different scenarios, in this case airport terminals, with a flexible and versatile installation, either on tripod or directly to wall.
These cameras, with a resolution of 348x288p and equipped with a lens of 13 Mm, optical resolution of 4 Mp with lens 6 Mm, offer a range of long-range detection, with up to 9 meters away, especially useful in preliminary control and analysis applications at major airport accesses and entrances.
In this sense, its detection capacity stands at up to thirty people at a time, with a measuring range of 30oC to 45oC and which, in combination with the Black Body calibrator, provides accuracy of up to +/- 0,3OC.
Thanks to artificial intelligence embedded in these devices, as well as the integration of algorithms deep learningdeveloped by Hikvision, these cameras have advanced features such as people detection, reducing false alarms caused by other heat sources; temperature detection of several people on the move, as well as the generation of alarms by exception of temperature in real time.
Hikvision thermal imaging cameras also feature Bi-Spectrum technology, that allows you to view normal and thermal images in picture in picture or by merging dual-spectrum images, creating a unique hybrid that provides additional details for faster detection, Accurate, and more effective decision-making.
For Diego Di Giuseppe, CEO of Hikvision Iberia, "it is gratifying to have leading companies such as Aena that are committed to prevention with top-notch technology solutions. We are very pleased with the development and implementation of the project, which has in place the supply and installation of a large number of equipment in different locations nationwide in just one week, complying with all the high quality standards required".
