Hanwha expands its Wisenet P line with 4K models and Artificial Intelligence
The range has five new models that have been designed with Deep Learning video analytics, to minimize false alarms, and Wisenet Retail Insight, functionality that will be very useful for retailers.
Hanwha Techwin has optimized the lives of control room operators and security personnel with the launch of five new ultra-high definition cameras and Artificial Intelligence from the Wisenet P line.
In addition to capturing images with excellent quality, have the company's top Premium range features and are equipped with Deep Learning video analytics, that offers a high level of detection accuracy and minimizes false alarms.
Deep Learning video analysis, no licensing cost, simultaneously classifies various types of objects (People, Vehicles, faces and license plates) and is backed by Wisenet AI algorithms, that can identify the attributes of objects or people as, For example, age group, gender or the color of clothing a person wears.
Attributes are saved as metadata, along with the images captured by the cameras, allowing you to quickly search for specific objects or incidents, you can even recognize whether a person wears glasses or wears a bag.
To further improve operator efficiency and minimize network bandwidth and data storage requirements, the new Wisenet P cameras with AI have a feature called BestShot that, as the name suggests, you can select the best images that have been captured from a person or object, and send only these with the associated metadata, to a storage server.
Operators can take advantage of vmS from major software developers such as Genetec and Milestone, as well as Wisenet Wave and Wisenet SSM, to look for evidence of specific objects or people by filtering the recorded metadata.
Eliminate false alarms
Analytics can be set to ignore video noise, the movement of tree leaves and clouds as well as animals, all that could normally be the cause of false alarms when using sensors or standard motion detection technology to detect activity.
This ability to minimize wasted time and false alarms means that control room operators and security personnel will be able to focus on responding to real incidents and emergencies.
Wisenet artificial intelligence algorithms built into the new Wisenet P 4K AI cameras can be used to accurately count the number of people entering and leaving a venue. Data can be displayed to give managers information about the capacity.
In addition, these cameras can be interesting for retail, as they have been integrated with Wisenet Retail Insight (V 2.0), allowing these establishments to better understand customer behavior and purchasing patterns.
Wisenet Retail Insight business intelligence solution uses people counting applications, heat maps and queue management to display statistical analysis on a centralized control panel, along with other practical information such as weather reports.
With the help of Wisenet artificial intelligence algorithms, Retail Insight can also show the age and gender of store visitors, allowing retailers to analyze customer demographics in detail.
Full functionality
Moreover, new cameras include a number of other features such as automatic digital tracking, wide dynamic range (Wdr) up to 120 Db, power supply 12 Vdc, alarm I/O ports and two SD card slots.
Cameras can stream two video streams, offering the option for operators to see the full field of view of a camera, and at the same time use a digital PTZ automatic tracking feature while watching full HD resolution images to track a person's or vehicle's movements.
The WDR up to 120 dB produces clear images of scenes containing very bright and dark areas simultaneously, which usually results in overexposed or underexposed images.
The power supply 12 VCC with a maximum of 50 mA provides enough power to support external devices, including Led, PIR sensors and crystal break detectors. This eliminates the need to install separate power supplies for each of them.
Connected devices, for example Led, can be activated when a camera detects and
classifies an object or person.
SD card slots allow you to store video or data in the camera itself in the event of a network outage. Video evidence, that could have been lost, can be recovered when the network connection is restored.
New Wisenet P models with AI:
- PNB-A9001 – 4K with AI.
- PNO-A9081R – 4K with AI.
- Non-vandal minidome PNV-A9081R – 4K with AI and integrated IR lighting.
- Surface mount minidome PND-A9081RF – 4K with AI and integrated IR lighting.
- Minidome PND-A9081RV – 4K with AI and integrated IR lighting.
With the exception of the Wisenet PNB-A9001 camera, all models include a motorized varifocal lens 4,5 ~ 10 Mm (2,2X) that facilitates automatic tracking and allows operators to approach the camera's field of view to take a closer look at the details of any activity.
The minidomos have a four-part magnetic modular design that makes installation much easier. The ability to pre-program IP network settings, without removing the camera modules from their packaging, reduces the time a technician has to spend on the facility and, therefore, interrupt to a lesser extent.
