Canadian golf club MontHill securizes its facilities with Vivotek technology

The MontHill Golf and Country Club is a golf course of 27 holes located in Caledonia (Ontario – Canada). With three different nine-hole courses, Golfers have the opportunity to mix and match their plays for a unique experience on every visit.

This state-of-the-art facility opened its golf season with a sports bar, A restaurant specializing in meats, indoor golf simulators and up to four banquet halls.

These facilities required a security system that would provide peace of mind to the club's owners, to staff and their sponsors day or night, throughout the year and in and around the club and surrounding areas.

The property is very large and required monitoring both inside and outside the perimeter. This is why, The solution had to work according to the complexity of the installation and withstand the harsh Canadian winter.

Inside were installed 30 FD8369A-V Fixed Dome Network Cameras. It is a model specifically designed for outdoor security applications but also functional indoors. It uses a 2 MP and a resolution of 1,920×1.080 To 30 Fps.

Dynamic and highly adaptable, this camera features a removable IR-cut filter, as well as IR illuminators of up to 30 meters to offer an optimal image throughout the day.

Outside the following have been installed 34 IR Fixed Dome Cameras FD8379-HV. With a 4MP sensor and equipped with WDR Pro technology, Provides enhanced visibility and excellent video quality in high-contrast environments.

For parking, five teams of Viviotek's most versatile model were chosen, the MA8391-ETV multi-adjustable camera. It provides high-resolution images through four independent sensors, and each sensor uses a remote focus lens.

By having each sensor independent of each other, the MA8391-ETV can view four different regions simultaneously and, therefore, Reduces the total amount of equipment required for surveillance, helping to reduce overall installation time and costs.

A FE9181-H H.265 360º fisheye fixed dome net camera is also used to cover the pro shop, another FE9382-EHV for the balcony and three MS9390-HV for valet parking surveillance.

All devices are managed by Vivotek VAST2 video management software. It offers an intuitive user interface and Smart Search II functionality, allowing users to quickly search for specific objects.
