The new QX Infinity outdoor series is on display at its stand, as well as the VXI-CMOD video verification solution. You can also see the VXI series, RLS-2020 laser equipment and ViiK sensors.

Optex Sicur 2020

Optex Group companies, Optex And Raytec, are participating as official exhibitors in Sicur 2020 to present its new intrusion detectors for outdoor QX Infinity (QXI).

This family complements the existing set of outdoor PIR detectors. A particular advantage of the new range is that the sensors are specifically designed to be mounted at a height of up to 2,7 Meters, which makes them less obvious to intruders and out of reach of vandals.

The compact and elegant design of this new detector is ideal for both residential and commercial buildings and the sensors activate both intruder alarms and CCTV cameras.

SICUR is also the scenario chosen to present at Iberia VXI-CMOD, Optex's new video verification solution, brand that sells in Spain ProdexTec. A 180° WiFi camcorder and night vision that can be integrated with the VX Infinity outdoor detector (Vxi).

The VXI series provides highly reliable outdoor sensing and is used for both residential and commercial applications, detecting intruders' access to courtyards, gardens, vehicle entrances and car parks.

For larger, more customized projects, the team is showing at the stand (10A37) how LiDAR technology can be adapted to be-made applications, including transportation, critical infrastructure, museums and protection of high-value assets.

The RLS-2020 laser series now meets the Degree 3, which means it can be added to intrusion alarm systems in indoor applications, giving installers the opportunity to improve safety by being able to add laser protection through virtual walls and ceilings.

In addition to its core portfolio of intrusion detection sensors, Optex is showcasing its innovative ViiK vehicle sensor, which has been named part of the Sicur Innovation Gallery 2020.

It combines microwave and ultrasound technology for vehicle detection while having the ability to ignore the traffic of people. The sensor does not require civil engineering works and can be easily mounted to 50 cm above ground, which makes it ideal for historic city centers or other places where it is not possible to excavate the ground.

ViiK sensors can also be part of a solution to activate video surveillance cameras and Led lights to increase the capture rate of license plate recognition systems. Raytec is demonstrating the values of adding Led light to improve the performance not only of ANPR systems but also of security applications.
