Bosch expands its range of MIC IP cameras with rugged models for critical environments

The starlight 7100i models, Ultra 7100i and fusion 9000i incorporate a rugged, corrosion-resistant design housing to deliver a reliable video surveillance solution in extreme conditions.

Designed to work in virtually any environment thanks to their high strength, the new starlight 7100i mobile cameras, ultra 7100i and fusion 9000i that have been incorporated into the IP MIC range of Bosch have solid metal parts to withstand extreme weather conditions.

These include intense winds, Rain, Fog, dust and moisture from the 100% (UL of types 6P and IP68), temperatures from -40oC to +65oC, extreme vibrations (IEC60068) and strong impacts (IK10). The high quality of the metal construction and the finish of the MIC IP cameras offer optimal corrosion protection.

The MIC IP starlight 7100i and ultra 7100i models are designed to meet salt and seawater requirements, with a rating of ISO12944-6 aluminum housing components: C5-M. They also feature a new drive train to follow slow-moving targets as smoothly as possible.

Another advantage is that the manufacturer ensures that all MIC IP cameras will never lose their reference position, returning to a default position over the life of the device.

The MIC IP 7100i can capture high-quality images in total darkness at a distance of up to 450 Meters, thus ensuring that the objects of interest always have optimal lighting.

This camera is supplied in the 'basic' and improved versions, while the MIC IP ultra 7100i model comes standard with the 'enhanced' version, including a glass defogging machine to improve visibility, integrated storage capabilities and non-return transmission for smoother and more accurate tracking, as well as greater accuracy for previous positioning.

In addition, MIC IP ultra 7100i is the first camera of its kind to combine a rough case with Ultra HD resolution – 4K:i, with 12x zoom and optical image stabilization. All MIC IP cameras include Intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction and Intelligent Transmission, along with H.265 video compression.
