Optex develops IP devices to respond to commercial security
Redwall SIP infrared detectors with IP/PoE are designed outdoors and activate video transmission and control systems of PTZ cameras.
Rapid technological advancement involves new needs and new challenges in the field of security and its different sectors. In the commercial security sector, connectivity and communication of devices over the Internet have become essential.
Optex, brand marketed in Spain and Portugal by ProdexTec, has met these needs and has developed a range of IP devices that allow the connection between its Redwall infrared detectors and CCTV or PSIM platforms.
Redwall SIP infrared detectors with IP/PoE are specially designed outdoors and activate the video transmission and control systems of PTZ cameras. These sensors have an intelligent sensing system that uses environmental data, such as temperature and lighting conditions, to automatically adjust sensitivity. They have anti-rotation and anti-masking functions and can detect attempts at vandalism or sensor tampering.
The Redwall SIP-5030 and SIP-100 provide wide-angle detection for large areas, With 3 independent detection zones (Far, close and immediate).
The SIP-100 covers an extension of 100×3 metres and the SIP-5030 of 50×30 Meters; while sip-3020 models, SIP-4010 and SIP-404 are designed to work in small and medium-sized areas (two independent detection zones: near and far).
The Redwall SIP-3020/5 infrared detector series, SIP-4010/5 and SIP-404/5 has an additional PIR detector built into the bottom to cover the area just below the unit. The PIR detector at the bottom has a separate output, separate from the main detection. The detection angle in the main area can be adjusted to easily match the camera's field of view.
