Barcelona Clinical Hospital improves UCI service with Axis IP solutions

The Full HD cameras and networked I/O modules of this security factory allow optimal monitoring of the rooms of the Intensive Care Unit of this center.

The objective of this project of the Clinical Hospital of Barcelona (Hcb) with the solutions Axis Communications was to provide a safer care process by creating an automated environment in potential risky situations, in addition to the dynamic distribution of information and the application of good clinical practices.

To do this, the rooms of the Intensive Care Unit (UCI) this hospital center features Full HD network cameras of Axis P55 PTZ, along with modules with networked I/O and the manufacturer's C2005 network speaker solution, providing audio for background music and live and scheduled messages.

The installation of these solutions "allow optimal supervision of the rooms of the ICU in the Clinical Hospital of Barcelona, which is considered one of the best reference health centres in Spain and even internationally, with a long tradition of research and innovation", signal from the security company.
