Vivotek announces its first license plate recognition camera, IB9387-LPR
With built-in license plate recognition software and edge-computing capability, can identify plates of more than 70 countries around the world.
The IB9387-LPR has been introduced as the first license plate recognition chamber (Lpr) of Vivotek. An all-in-one device suitable for use in the control of parking accesses and toll systems.
With built-in license plate recognition software and additional serverless edge-computing capability, this camera can identify plates of more than 70 countries around the world.
This Vivotek team also offers efficient management of access control through black and white lists and centralized maintenance of multisite cameras.
With a black and white list embedded within the IB9387-LPR camera, control barrier opens the door when a whitelisted vehicle is detected; while if blacklisted it will trigger an alarm and a notification will be sent to security personnel.
With this solution, parking security personnel with multiple entry points no longer need to upgrade the system one after the other. They can simply upload these lists to a single centralized LPR camera and all others will download the master list, reducing installation time and maintenance efforts.
Thanks to its various application programming interfaces (Api), third-party systems, like parking management, toll collection and scale systems can receive live LPR images with a country, State, Date, specific time and level of trust.
This camera is protected by Trend Micro IoT Security, that provides proactive security in cybersecurity.
