Allianz Park modernizes its security with Dahua's artificial intelligence cameras
Capable of data analysis and facial recognition, the system that has been installed in this Brazilian stadium adds a modernity to the video surveillance project integrated by the DH-IPC-PF83230-A180 cameras, SD6CE245UN-HNI, DH-IPC-HFW8242EN-Z4FD-IRA-Led and MPT310 and DHI-IVSS7016DR-4T recorders.
Opened in 2014, Allianz Park is Latin America's main multipurpose arena. Built by WTorre in the same place as the former Palestra Italia stadium, meets FIFA standards.
Located in the city of Sao Paulo (Brazil), is among the populations of Agua Branca, Pompeii, Partridges and Bar Cover, an easily accessible region highlighted by event organizers and club fans. The space can accommodate 43.700 people on playing days, 55.00 for shows and 12.000 for events in the amphitheatre.
Its management constantly invests in technology and new solutions to keep the project in line with the world's most current innovation standards.
In 2018, the company completed delivery of Latin America's largest 360o RingLed, with a total of 580 meters and panels for all sand bars. The design of the Led panel Dahua Technology was developed by Digital Arena, specialized in digital stadium media.
“Our philosophy is to deliver great projects that make a difference, not only for the customer but also for the people who will use their space. Allianz Parque is a place of entertainment where spectators aspire to see a great show with safety and comfort", says Fabio Lopes, Dahua Technology Channel Director.
The latest initiative they have launched is the installation of a new video surveillance solution, betnto on Dahua's smart cameras that integrate artificial intelligence. This helps the sand safety team work more efficiently and productively, so that the stadium is able to handle different types of scenarios, like large-scale concerts, important celebrations and, Especially, football matches, Of the Palmeiras Esportiva Society.
"With this solution, Allianz Parque features state-of-the-art facial recognition system, with artificial intelligence and data analysis, that can be integrated into the public safety equipment system”, says Eduardo Rigotto, general manager of the Allianz Park.
Although the sand has no difficulties for the security operation, even being recognized as one of the most protected in the country, Rigotto points out that there are always possibilities for modernization. “The market has changed in five years and to keep us at the forefront, and remain an inspiration to other spaces we must continue to invest in new technologies”, Highlights.
The system-entire installation was carried out in 90 Days. According to the general manager of Allianz Parque, the biggest challenge was implementing it with the arena running: "We have to carry out the replacement without any impact on the security team. But with the support of dahua's team, we were able to do the job without any major changes in our initial planning".
In addition to providing electronic security technology, Dahua has also become a sponsor of Allianz Park, as well as In Prevent Senior, Pine Bank and allianz Seguros own brand. As a result, will change the name of the Arena Control Center to Bcc and the stadium will have more than 150 signs that Dahua Technology's state-of-the-art technology is on site to protect everyone.
This project has used devices that incorporate functions that go beyond an image captured by an ordinary camera such as the DH-IPC-PF83230-A180 cameras, SD6CE245UN-HNI, DH-IPC-HFW8242EN-Z4FD-IRA-Led and MPT310 and DHI-IVSS7016DR-4T recorders.
Asimismio in this stadium has also been installed a video wall configured with six LCD screens of 46 Inch (DHL460UCM-ES) in the form of a 2×3 matrix. Integrates a Dahua NVD0905DH-4I-4K controller, you can display live images with 4K resolution, announcements and newsletters.
The DH-IPC-PF83230-A180 is a panoramic camera with four CMOS sensors 8 Megapixel, that generates a single image of 180 degrees of 32 megapixels using the H.265 compression technique. The SD6CE245UN-HNI is n positioning PTZ equipment that includes technologies, like Starlight, that allows the display of images in very light colors (less than 0.005lux). It has a 45x zoom system, plus infrared lighting that can reach 250 meters away.
For its part, The DH-IPC-HFW8242EN-Z4FD-IRA-Led is a network camera that captures human faces through the AI algorithm, integrated into a chip with deep learning technology. It gives the facial detection server a lot of processing work, because the camera locates the faces of the video image and analyzes attributes such as sex, age, facial expressions and if you have glasses.
As far as recorders are concerned, The MPT310 laptop is used with lapel cameras to perform the recording and transmission of high definition audio and video online from the point of view of the agent close to the events.
The DHI-IVSS7016DR-4T network camera recorder and facial database manager works in conjunction with the CMS DSS Pro, who performs the recording of the videos on the network, in addition to managing and analyzing previously registered faces in the Allianz Parque employee and service provider database.
Users can also set a blacklist and the recorder alerts once unauthorized persons are detected in a given sector. The server can, in real time, work by processing the input flow at the door opening, being able to recognize up to 40 faces per second in the stadium, detect faces and compare them to the database prepared to issue field security alerts in seconds.
