The VTR thermal camera sensor combined with the PTZ SN683D camera provides surveillance of 360 degrees continually searching for intruders in an expansive area. This thermal technology provides actionable intelligence for fast and adequate responses.

Vicon's new series of high-power thermal sensor cameras integrates with its high-speed PTZ SN683D dome camera to detect, identify and track intruders by thermal detection and combines with targeted surveillance from the PTZ for complete situational awareness.

When a threat is detected, the PTZ automatically moves to the signal, providing immediate confirmation and forensic coverage. Detection alerts automatically notify staff of potential threats.

The resulting product offers a solution that identifies any physical intrusion that may threaten an installation or its perimeter, doing the work of multiple fixed cameras.

Thermal sensing system lowers equipment cost and number of safety personnel needed to monitor critical areas in traditional detection and surveillance.
