Panasonic unveils new outdoor surveillance PTZ cameras with poor lighting
The i-Pro Extreme WV-X6533LN and WV-S6532LN series are ideal for preventive safety applications on railway tracks, Airports, urban infrastructure, parking lots and stadiums.
Panasonic has added to its offer for preventive security applications in large outdoor spaces and extreme lighting environments, PTZ cameras WV-X6533LN and WV-S6532LN.
These models are part of the i-Pro Extreme series, offer Full HD video quality, Scene detection and tuning technologies to capture the best possible image. In addition, They have a robust design to operate outdoors in extreme weather conditions or resist possible acts of vandalism.
Designed for installation in urban furniture, Posts, Bridges or outdoor structures, Panasonic has manufactured these cameras with high standards of resistance to both the effects of dust and water (IP66) as to possible accidental blows or vandalism (IK10).
Its design facilitates different mounting options to achieve the best image coverage, in combination with the use of its PTZ mechanism, allowing horizontal and vertical movements, In addition to approaches, so that the monitoring work is as complete and fast as possible.
For the best image quality, WV-X6533LN and WV-S6532LN cameras feature iA technology (intelligent Auto), detects scene changes and motion, To automatically adjust camera settings in real time, reducing distortion and blurring of moving objects.
ClearSight coating prevents water droplets and dust from sticking to the lens surface, ensuring the image sharpness needed for vehicle identification in motion.
Capturing images under extreme lighting conditions, such as blackouts or areas without street lighting, is a challenge that these cameras overcome by incorporating IR Led technology.
This technology manages to illuminate at a great distance (Until 350 meters for the WV-X6533LN and 100 meters for WV-S6532LN) to capture very clear monochrome images in conditions up to 0 Lux.
For its part, at night or under dense storms, Color Night Vision technology helps achieve very low noise color images in very low light circumstances (0.001 To 0.015 Lux).
The WV-X6533LN model has a high-performance lens for long distances because its powerful 40x zoom offers optimal image stabilization, by combining the Intelligent Zoom Stabilization function with a gyroscope built into the camera.
Both models use H.265 compression technology, reduces bandwidth usage with up to efficiency up to 95%, compared to conventional H.264, to increase recording time and use less storage space.
In addition, with ROI function (Region Of Interest) and Auto VIQS encoding (Variable Image Quality on Specified Area), The camera detects and 'learns' the areas of constant movement so that the image of vehicles and people is maintained with the best quality, while reducing bandwidth usage.
The new cameras include the use of an i-VMD software license (intelligent Video Motion Detection), provides intelligent detection of image changes or risk situations in previously determined areas. This is capable of sending alert notifications, from a warning signal on the monitoring operator's display to the start-up of an alarm system.
