SICE to supply communications and security systems for Finch West LRT in Canada
Mosaic Transit Group has outsourced this technology company to supply communications systems, Cctv, access control, Intrusion, Etc. for this Toronto light rail project.
The public-private partnership Metrolinx E Infrastructure Ontario has selected, through a competitive process, To Mosaic Transit Group to design, Build, finance and maintain for thirty years Toronto's Finch West LRT light rail project, which includes a line of 11 Km of travel, with eighteen stops and garages.
This company has outsourced to Sice to supply the communications network, Telephony, Intercom, Pa, Tetra radio, CCTV CCTV cctv, Scada, central alarms, chronometry, access and intrusion control, as well as road intrusion detection systems, passenger information and advertising.
The light rail project (Lrt) Finch West is currently underway, with an important construction scheduled for spring 2019, where the old infrastructure will also be renovated.
This light rail project will provide 11 additional kilometers and 18 public transport stops (including 16 on the surface and an underground exchange station at Finch West commuter train station, connecting with the new expansion of the Toronto-York-Spadina metro), along with an underground stop at Humber College with transit connections to other areas.
Moreover, SICE is also currently working on providing Eglinton Crosstown LRT's communications network. Both projects consolidate this company's position in the North American rail market.
