Toshiba S300: internal hard drive up to 10 TB for video surveillance applications

The manufacturer has expanded its internal HDD range of 3,5 with this series, offering a large storage capacity, speed and scalability in security applications.

The new line of S300 Surveillance Hard Drive internal drives from Toshiba offers storage capacity of up to 10 Tb, Especially beneficial in video surveillance applications, as it is capable of saving recordings of up to 64 High Definition Surveillance Cameras (depending on the model, at a speed of 10 Mbts), Running uninterrupted (24/7).

Toshiba S300 is available in the market with capabilities of 4, 6, 8 And 10 Tb, which means an increase in 2 TB compared to the previous internal HDD range developed by this manufacturer; and has a mean failure time of 1 million hours, as well as a buffer of up to 256 Mb.

In addition, The S300 internal hard drives incorporate this manufacturer's Stable Plate technology and are compatible with large server systems thanks to their ability to back up to 64 High-resolution video footage.

The S300 family supports more than eight disk bays, supports a workload of up to 180 TB per year, reaches up to 7.200 rpm at a maximum data transfer rate of 248 MB/s, and offers a three-year warranty. This range also integrates VR sensors to help suppress vibrations in multi-HDD platforms.

Color: Green, as it is Toshiba's family of internal HDDs for the video surveillance sector, The S300 range is also for its compatibility with network video recorders (Nvr), digital video recorders (Dvr), Hybrid DVR Systems (Analog and IP) and RAID storage for the network security sector.
