CIAS Sioux MEMS 3D: security and fence protection with distributed intelligence

The Italian company CIAS has developed an innovative solution for the protection of fences -Sioux MEMS 3D-, that thanks to distributed intelligence capable of adapting the response to any kind of close, even heterogeneous within the same plant, and thus calibrate the working parameters of each zone and within the area of each sensor individually.

Sioux MEMS 3D, based on the Fuzzy-Logic PoE digital control system,you can conveniently configure the field areas by walking along the perimeter and physically 'touching' the sensors to select the start and end of each of the available areas (Touch&Zone).

This solution can also be adjusted using Sioux Test software, used for remote equipment configuration and calibration.

Another feature is anti-positioning, so that, leveraging the capacity of MEMS sensors with respect to gravity acceleration, useful information about the position of the accelerometer in space can be received.

In addition, at the time of installation this information is memorized, regardless of the position of the MEMS accelerometer. If that position is altered by a number of degrees greater than a default amount, and in any case variable (for example 5th), there is a signal of manipulation. It can also detect changes in structure.

Each MEMS is individually identified and analyzed by a specific channel of its master sensor that knows its exact topological location. Each intrusion event is identified in a timely manner with the precision of 1 Metro, regardless of the distance between the sensors.
