Egypt's Film City protects its facilities with Scati technology

Two hundred high-resolution cameras in different formats monitor the perimeter, accesses and buildings that make up this large film industry complex located in Cairo.

With a surface of 35 million square meters, the City of Film Production of Egypt (Egyptian media production city) Is, in addition to the main focus of the film industry in this country, a tourist attraction visited by thousands of people daily, since it is located only 35 Km from Cairo.

This large and complex installation, that began its activity in 1997, has fourteen film studios, an open-air theatre and a more covered theatre, with the capacity to 1.500 People. In addition, has a processing studio, sound editing and recording for movies.

Egypt's Film Production City also locates a hotel of 4 Star, which has 250 Rooms; a training centre and a club for staff.

With these dimensions, its managers have improved the surveillance system in order to protect the perimeter, the accesses and buildings of the enclosure and guarantee the safety of personnel and visitors with the technology of the specialist Scati.

For this project, two hundred high-resolution network cameras of various formats have been installed and distributed throughout the enclosure: bullet, Fixed, minidomes and PTZ, that have been integrated with the existing video management platform in the complex.
