Everis installs automated access control systems at four Spanish airports
In total, has installed 220 next-generation ABC gates spread across Alicante airports, Barcelona, Menorca and Palma de Mallorca, including advanced document validation and biometric recognition technologies, both facial and fingerprint.
Everis has supplied and installed 220 state-of-the-art automated border control systems at Alicante airports, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and Menorca.
These systems, also known generically as ABC (Automated Border Control), include advanced document and biometric validation technologies, and are prepared to optimize passenger access time performance, depending on the document used and the user experience with this type of unattended doors.
Among the milestones of this project is the installation at Mallorca airport of the largest automated border system lines in Spain, with forty ABC doors in each of them.
The systems developed and implemented by everis work through the use of electronic passport and DNI and incorporate biometric recognition, both facial and fingerprint, to ensure the correct identification of travelers.
The doors are integrated with the databases of the National Police to locate people in search and capture or stolen documents. While in operation, systems enable agents to monitor processes, both from a cabin installed in the passage area and from mobile devices prepared for this task (Tablets).
