Avigilon and Motorola Solutions offer new level of public safety in Detroit

Ilitch Holdings installs MSI and Avigilon critical security and communications solution for its Detroit center. This includes more than 1.600 Cameras, Control Center video management software (Acc) and the Access Control Manage system (Acm).

Ilitch Holdings has chosen the technologies of Motorola Solutions And Avigilon to improve customer experience and safety at its iconic Detroit properties.

This company was founded in 1999 to provide professional services to certain businesses that were created or acquired by Detroit entrepreneurs Mike and/or Marian Ilitch. Ilitch companies represent brands of food industries, sports and entertainment like Little Caesars, Blue Line Distribution, Detroit Red Wings, Olympia Entertainment, Detroit Tigers, Olympia Development, Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fundraising Program and Champion Foods. In addition, Marian Ilitch owns MotorCity Casino Hotel.

Ilitch Holdings wanted to revitalize his business in Detroit (Michigan), investing in public infrastructure and local businesses, and promoting public safety at Little Caesars Arena and Comerica Park, as well as in state-of-the-art retail offices and stores.

In partnership with security integrator Identify has installed a security solution with video analysis from Avigilon, which includes more than 1.600 Cameras, Control Center video management software (Acc) and the Access Control Manage system (Acm). This solution allows security operators to detect, search and verify critical events, saving time and effort in research.

Also, Ilitch Holdings uses Motorola Solutions Mototrbo two-way professional radios to communicate through its properties, including Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park and Fox Theatre. When suspicious activity is detected, with Avigilon's solution, security personnel can communicate with each other through these radios and take steps to keep visitors to The District Detroit safe.
