BioEntry W2: fingerprint access control with OSDP connection
Developed by Bosch Security, this IP-based reader can be installed in indoor and outdoor environments, with two-factor authentication: fingerprint and card.
The BioEntry W2 fingerprint access control system from Bosch Security can connect via OSDP or Wiegand to an AMC2, in addition to offering the possibility of configuring a random reader as a log reader.
Bosch BioEntry W2, available for 125 kHz and 13,56 MHz is a reader with several interfaces for Wiegand and OSDP (via RS-485), that offers a fast and accurate reading of fingerprints, with detection of up to ten fingers per person with BIS/ACE 4.5 (and later versions), and has a vandal-proof system for installation outdoors or complicated environments.
The maximum cable length for the OSDP/RS485 bus system is 1.200 meters with twisted cable pairs. a maximum of eight readers per interface can be connected and addresses are assigned to the reader using the optional configuration tool.
The distance between the BioEntry W2 reader and the side-mounted metal surfaces is 30 Mm. at least. La distancia entre el lector y los cables de tensión a 230 V~ and battery packs is 500 mm minimum, the same as with high-frequency cables.
