The specialist in loss prevention solutions for the retail industry Tyco Retail Solutions has introduced the new sensormatic infuzion label range for electronic item protection (Eas); a flexible device to incorporate future updates by leveraging various theft prevention technologies and features.

InFuzion is designed to save operating costs and shorten the customer payment process, in addition to improving security in self-service payment, to which are added 'scan-and-go' or mobile payment functions, through applications to facilitate their automatic withdrawal in a matter of seconds. In this way, customers can transact unans helplessly and streamline the entire purchase process.

Tyco Retail Solutions commissioned United States Ergonomics usability tests to measure differences in speed and efficiency between one-piece labels and two-piece labels, where various garments of different sizes and fabrics have been used. The Sensormatic InFuzion label turned out to be the fastest to apply and remove, with a total time saving of the 40%.
