Siemens presents at SICUR 2018 their solutions for protecting critical infrastructures

In this edition, Siemens is making known the proposals developed from the Building Technologies division and its security company Tecosa. Among the innovations that are being presented are the comprehensive management software Siveillance Viewpoint and the video surveillance platform with facial recognition BioSurveillance.

Siemens has attended the International Security Hall (Sicur 2018), being held in Ifema until the 23 February), to showcase their most innovative solutions to protect critical infrastructures. This biannual fair has been the stage chosen by the company to publicize the proposals developed since the division of Building Technologies and your security company Tecosa.

Among the news that can be seen in your stand (Pavilion 10, 10D13) is the comprehensive security system manager for the treatment of events and alarms Siveillance Viewpoint. This is pSIM software (Physical Security Information Management) that integrates in the same system all disciplines, that from a safety perspective it is necessary to combine in critical installations, including access control, Cctv, perimeter intrusion, Intercom, Radar, GIS or PCI systems.

Siveillance Viewpoint improves everything Siemens has developed so far in terms of safety, because it is able to create a complete picture of security, provide full control of the situation and dominate each incident. That's why, this software is presented as a system that provides the appropriate response to each alarm situation raised. It has interactive ability to reduce user work and has a georeferenced system that gives greater precision.

With the development of this solution, Siemens proposes a whole new approach to Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), offering a tool that fuses hazard management and command and control functions (Coc). This allows you to create a georeferenced intelligent system, with alarm correlation and interactive multi-view display.

Siveillance Viewpoint also includes a Software Development Kit (Sdk) aimed at smaller integrators and a Scada system that allows to coordinate events or alerts of the industrial network.

Intelligent video surveillance

For intelligent video surveillance, Siemens has the Siveillance VMS management system, that in this edition of Sicur is presented with new updates. It is an intelligent video management platform capable of responding to CCTV needs (Closed Circuit Television), for both small enclosures and large sites with multiple geographically dispersed sites.

Siveillance VMS incorporates Siveillance SiteIQ Analitycs video analytics plug-in – Perimeter Security Essentials, offering high intrusion detection rates and reduced false alarm ratios in perimeter security applications. It also allows you to manage the headquarters centrally.

Facial recognition

Through your security company Tecosa, Siemens is making its way known at the BioSurveillance fair, a revolutionary product in video surveillance and facial recognition.

Herta Security's system detects multiple faces in real time and makes user management easier at any time. Its technology is very reliable, even when you partially hide your face, glasses are used, handkerchiefs or caps. It also acts in difficult lighting conditions and with moderate rotations of the face.

BioSurveillance is the ideal solution for mass environments such as airports, metro or train stations, shopping malls, sports stadiums or urban centres.

Metal detection, drugs and explosives

Tecosa is also showing news related to scanning luggage and packages. The novelty is offered at the standard equipment operator position 3 Incent.view 3D that displays the images generated by the Hi-SCAN explosive detection system 10080 Xct.

Depending on the mode of operation of the position, images containing suspicious items are automatically viewed or retrieved using a barcode reader. All graphic information is presented to the operator clearly, so that detected explosives or dark alarms appear inside colored frames.

This position can scan up to 1.800 suitcases on time and is TSA certified for high-speed baggage scanning.

The company is also exhibiting metal detector arches, ceia, high reliability like the HI-PE Plus, including Met-Identity technology, capable of detecting firearms, indicating its position and composition, allowing at the same time the alarm-free passage of other harmless metal objects.

For its part, the 02PN20-LFA detects high-caliber weapons and other metallic elements that may pose a threat, in addition to checking people along with their carry-on baggage without having to check the packages separately.

Tecosa will also have available to the public other high-sensitivity models for the detection of metals underground in conductive and non-conductive terrain.

Efficient building management

The Building Technologies division is presenting the 3.0 of the integrated Desigo CC building management platform and its offer to adapt the fire protection portfolio based on the new RIPCI fire protection facilities regulations.

The version 3.0 Desigo CC introduces deployments related to the migration of old security systems to the new system and new specific functionalities for greater ease of use and integration of equipment.
