Bancrea simplifies the management of your CCTV system with Scati's IP video solution
With the new infrastructure, Mexican bank has centralized the security system of financial agencies, optimizing available bandwidth. In addition to managing, automatedly monitor and maintain all devices in real time, and take advantage of the analog cameras they already had installed.
The Bancrea Bank is a recently created Mexican financial institution that aims to support the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises. He was born in Monterrey in 2013 and currently has a corporate and six branches spread over Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí and Guanajuato.
To protect these facilities, its Infrastructure Department has opted for the technology of Scati. The objective was to have an advanced technological infrastructure that would allow to manipulate the consumption of the bandwidths of the system network and comply with the mandatory regulations in Mexico, Seproban.
Bancrea had an analog CCTV system that was quite complex to manage, as up to six basic IT tools and knowledge were needed. It has more than 40 analogue cameras so I needed a platform that, in addition to managing the analog cameras already installed, incorporate other, more advanced equipment and technologies.
"What convinced us of Scati's technology was the simplicity of setting up and manipulating your platform's management and management tools", says Emmanuel López Rodríguez, IT Manager Infrastructure at Banco Bancrea.
For the full protection of your network of agencies, Bancrea opted to install twenty Scati Eye IP cameras, including panoramic view models of 6 MP covering 360-degree areas. Each Fisheye is able to replace several standard cameras with the consequent cost reduction and simplification of the CCTV system. These equipments offer the possibility to create different display compositions and move through the image thanks to their digital PTZ, achieving a high detail of the image.
Bancrea has also installed minidome ip cameras and bullet 2 Mp. Both models incorporate infrared up to 20 Meters, offer high image quality, both daytime and nighttime environments, and have an anti-vandal housing with protection level IP67.
Artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence has also been an option for this financial institution that has installed cameras equipped with this technology, which have advanced analytics on the team itself.
The SEM-3511VR-EXMA is specifically designed for installation in accesses or other environments where identification of people is necessary. With 2 Mp, offers high image quality in low-light conditions and thanks to its real WDR of 120 dB backlight behaviour is ideal, allowing great sharpness in adverse conditions.
To store the images, the Scati Vision D400 recording platform has been chosen with up to 9 TB of storage. This series integrates PoE switch for 8 And 16 cameras and are the perfect choice for distributed facilities such as banking agencies.
For the management of video from these cameras, Bancrea makes use of Scati client applications that ensure the proper functioning of the CCTV system.
With Scati Watcher, a large number of cameras are managed remotely, VCRs and other devices, and allows for quick viewing, search and image management. Scati Round, for its part, monitors the status of all devices in the system (Cameras, video recorders, Etc.); as it allows automated and remote maintenance of all equipment and facilitates the preventive detection of faults in the devices. It is the key element for the management of a scalable system that allows you to schedule massive operations on groups of recorders, as configurations, Updates, Etc.
Comprehensive security solution
With the addition of the Scati solution, Bancrea Bank has centralized the network security system of banking agencies, optimizing available bandwidth. In addition to managing, automatically monitor and maintain all system elements in real time.
Scati's solution allows you to take advantage of pre-installed analog cameras and incorporate, thanks to the scalability of the system, new cameras and VCRs, as new agencies open up in the future. They have a complete solution adapted to the needs of the entity, that guarantees the safety of its facilities and that complies with the mandatory Seproban regulations in Mexico.
The simplicity of handling client applications allows operators without great IT knowledge to monitor the CCTV system. It also saves you costs and get maximum return on investments made by reducing response times against heists and other claims.
