Sicur 2018 opens to exhibitors the Gallery of New Products

Companies participating in 21st edition of this event can submit their proposals on "this platform to support communication and the promotion of the most significant and cutting-edge security advances", as they point out from the organization.

With the aim of promoting research, development and innovation in the security sector, Sicur 2018, contest organized by Ifema of the 20 To 23 February at Feria de Madrid, convenes the exhibiting companies in this edition to present their most innovative proposals in the Gallery of new products.

Among all the proposals submitted, a jury appointed by SICUR, composed of leading professionals from the world of security in the different sectors represented at the fair, will select and include in that gallery those products that deserve consideration of new, either because of their design or because of the technology they incorporate, whose ruling will be irrevocable.

Applications for filing by exhibitors will need to be submitted before the next 27 October to galeriasicur@ifema.es. Jury deliberation with the relationship of selected products will be made public in advance, at the start of the contest.

The products presented must have started marketing in Spain after the 1 March 2016. In the case of products that within the regulatory field are subject to the CE Marking and/or Compliance Mark, the exhibitor must submit supporting documentation of such certifications indicating to which notified body they have been obtained.

In the case of products not subject to these certifications, the exhibitor must provide the so-called Test and Classification Reports in laboratories accredited by ENAC, who will be especially valued in the selection process.
