The manufacturer of security solutions has announced this new technology for long-distance IP systems, that will market in the Spanish market this wholesaler.

IPTecno epoe dahuaePoE technology (extended power over ethernet) of Dahua offers a new way to make the connection and transmission between the IP camera and the recorder or switch at a great distance, so that a more flexible surveillance system can be designed, reliable and with lower cost in construction and wiring, among other advantages (more data in Digital Security).

Marketed by IPTecno, this technology is especially suitable for video surveillance installations of large spaces, as department stores, Parks, gardens and outdoor car parks, I mean, for those environments where the cameras are scattered and away from the control center, usually more than 100 Meters.

Dahua ePoE IPIn this sense, Dahua ePoE supports up to 800 meters via traditional Cat5 Ethernet cable (To 10 Mbps) Or 300 Meters ,(To 100 Mbps), which greatly simplifies the construction of the network, as only one cable is required to connect from the device to the recorder or ePoE switch, resulting in greater reliability and lower installation and maintenance costs.

It is a recommended system to make the migration from an analog to an IP system, to have video, Audio, telemetry and power with a single coaxial cable.
