The until now vice president of EMEA of a major security distributor joins with his appointment as CEO to the board of directors of this manufacturer of megapixel cameras.

Mobotix Thomas Lausten CEOFrom the past 15 June 2017, Thomas Lausten completes the board of directors of Mobotix as the new CEO of this manufacturer of network video surveillance systems, which until now was formed by Oliver Gabel (Bt.); Tristan Haage (CSO), and Klaus Kiener (Cfo), and which now adds a fourth member after the dismissal of Klaus Gesmann.

The new head of Mobotix has been General Manager of Sales at Siemens, as well as Managing Director of ADI Global Distribution in the Nordic region and, during the last few years as Vice President of EMEA.

This experience and knowledge of the security market has been recognized by the German manufacturer with its designation, as Yuji Ichimura has pointed out, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mobotix: "with Thomas Lausten, we have gained a senior manager from the video surveillance industry and we are happy to have him as CEO at Mobotix".
