This integration of solutions, that's being shown on Ifsec 2017, provides additional authentication in environments that require a high level of security.

Avigilon ACM Integrates with Virdi Biometrics

In Ifsec 2017, which is being held in London until the 22 June, Avigilon is demonstrating how its access control system (Access Control Manager – ACM) Integrates with Virdi providing additional identification in environments that require high security.

This increased security is offered by fingerprint technology and 'false detection'’ (Live and Fake Fingerprint Detection) Virdi's software that uses infrared light and advanced algorithms to deliver high accuracy at access points.

"Biometric access control is a technology that is increasingly being used to secure facilities. Its integration with Avigilon's ACM will provide our customers with a complete solution that will enhance their security systems.", says Cory Bellamy, Managing Director of Virdi International.

Virdi's USB fingerprint reader can be connected to a client machine, while users can configure and manage biometric identities directly from Avigilon ACM software.

"This integration provides an additional layer of security in identifying identities quickly and accurately for those environments that require high security", explains James Henderson, Chief Operating Officer of Avigilon.
